First of all I live in Vermont...I came here after graduating nursing school at Harper College, in Palatine Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. I came here because of my love for mountains and snowboarding, but I stayed because of my love for my church and the dear family in Christ I have gained. For a liberal area (to say the least) I have found the most amazing, safe, and God-fearing place to call home, and that is among the folks at Christ Memorial Church. I am raising a son on my own, so to speak, although I have rarely felt "alone". About a year after my son was born, I committed my life to Christ, and have since been growing and changing - by God's grace alone. I love being a mommy, and am getting ready for the start of 1st grade in a couple weeks - wow! I remember when my little one was truly little and all he did was "coo". Now he is bright and smart and fun, and we have a blast together!
